As Global S&OP Manager, you’ll ensure that the strategic aims of Barrel TK Lubricants are achieved through effective Sales and Operations Planning.
The role is crucial to managing the interface between the dynamic needs of our customers and the capability of Lubricants Supply Chain to meet these needs.
Specific responsibilities will involve:
Ensuring visibility of forward looking global forecast volumes and alignment with financial plans
Identification of demand / capacity gaps in the medium term, ensuring that these are resolved through regional S&OP in a timely manner
Reporting OTIF performance globally & regionally, undertaking root cause analysis and driving improvement
Acting as global inventory management custodian
Managing forecast improvement operationally as well as embracing next generation technologies to deliver step change improvement in the future
As well as managing a team of direct reports, you’ll also work closely with a global community of S&OP stakeholders within the Lubricants business.
This role is as much about relationships as it is about technology. Confident, self-motivated and highly organised, your experience of working across different cultures and commercial functions has enabled you to develop excellent interpersonal and communication skills so that you’re able to liaise effectively with all levels of business stakeholders.
Educated to degree level, ideally with a MBA or Masters in Supply Chain Management, you’ll have significant experience in supply chain planning and operations. You’ll be very familiar with ERP tools (we use SAP APO) also have prior experience of managing teams.
